“Life isn't measured by the number of breaths you take,
but by the moments that take your breath away.”
~ Unknown, but most likely the words of a wedding photographer

You're Engaged!

Congratulations!  Since you’re reading this paragraph, I’m guessing you’re engaged to be married to someone you love, that you’re planning a very cool event to celebrate it, and that wedding photography is probably fairly important to you.  For me as a photographer, weddings are the most important and exciting thing I do.  I love shooting weddings, and here’s why.

First, we’re fortunate at Focus to work with the coolest brides and grooms anywhere.  I don’t know how we get so lucky, but the clients that choose us are fun, energetic, and totally unique.  They’re throwing a party to celebrate their marriage with their friends and families, and on their wedding day, they know how to have a good time.  I’ve never met a Bridezilla, and I doubt I ever will.

Second, I work with an amazing team who has taken our wedding coverage to a whole new level.  Years ago, I was a one man operation, Will Wenzel Photography, trying to be everywhere at once at a wedding, and then trying to do all the album design, order fulfillment, and customer service by myself afterwards.  Now, I have an amazing stable of photographers that complement what I do; a director of photography who makes sure we never miss a shot; a digital artist at the studio; an album designer that produces kick-ass album layouts; and a queen of customer service (that’s Lucia, my wife) whose mantra is “The bride gets what she wants”.

As a result, every wedding is a stress-free blast, our work gets better every year, our clients are thrilled by the variety of images, and as a team we can offer a level of coverage and service that is unheard of elsewhere.

Finally, weddings themselves keep getting more amazing.  Brides (and grooms, parents, bridesmaids, and whoever the bride can coerce) put so much time, thought, and energy into making their receptions unique, that every wedding we shoot is individual and fresh.  And since most of those details and decorations will only exist for a brief period of time on a single day, we make it our mission to artistically document everything you’ve worked on.

Okay, I’ve got a million more things to tell you, but that’s my top three reasons why I love weddings.  Here’s what I want you to do.  Check out this gallery and our blog to see some of our work.  Next, come and meet with us, or if you’re more than two states away, spend some time with Lucia or I on the phone. You’ll tell us all about your wedding plans, we’ll tell you how we can help, and together we’ll come up with a plan to get you incredible wedding images.

I can’t wait to hear more about what will make your wedding special.

Our Collections

Okay, wait. I don't like to read that much text on a webpage, and I doubt you do either, so about we just hit the highlites, and you can download the whole brochure yourself.

In-Season Saturday weddings range from three to seven thousand dollars. Other days of the week and off season weddings are discounted from there.

But why don't you download our 2009 wedding brochure, and you can see for yourself?

The Flash Site!

So we have a dedicated wedding website if you want more information about us. But here's the thing - there's no swirls. I know, we've gotten you used to them, and you're going to miss the swirls, so the wedding site is a Flash template, and there's now way for me to swirl it up.

You can get there from our menu system, or you can just click here to open the wedding site.
